Liz is Currently on maternity Leave and will not be seeing patients until further notice. I have always wanted to be an Osteopath because I know personally how much it can improve your life and enable you to do the activities you want or need to do. I graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Masters degree in Osteopathy in 2014 and I’m a member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and the Institute of Osteopathy (IO). I have been working in Swindon for the past 7 years and have been with Liz & Associates Osteopathy since it opened in 2019 I enjoy treating a wide array of injuries and issues including work related injuries, sports injuries, post surgical rehabilitation, pregnancy related pain, children and babies. Osteopathy uses an array of techniques to help improve your pain as quickly as possible. This may include: massage, Osteopathic manipulation, mobilisations, IATSM, Acupuncture, exercise rehabilitation and Cranial Osteopathy. Outside of clinic I enjoy HIIT training for crazy mud runs, dog walking and canicross, and paddleboarding.

Osteopathy, Dry needling, Cranial Osteopathy, Ultrasound, Laser

I am an osteopath from Wales. I studied at the Swansea university and I'm registered with the general osteopathic council. I have worked in two previous clinics and some years of practice in this clinic. Over the years I have treated arthritis, sciatica, scoliosis, lower back pain, cerebral palsy, headaches, fibromyalgia and much more. I have a particular interest in sports injury rehab, chronic pain management, and asthma. I use many osteopathic techniques during treatment. This includes mobilisation, manipulation, MET and NMT (soft tissue and stretching techniques), taping, and Balanced ligamentous tension (BLT) techniques. Accompanying the manual treatment I will provide clear information on rehab, how to manage existing chronic conditions, and how to adapt work or hobby activities to prevent pain. Outside of the clinic I enjoy playing sports and spend my time playing basketball and tennis. Occasionally, I’ll go hiking and partake in landscape photography. I also enjoy board games and baking.

Osteopathy, Dry Needling

I studied Osteopathy at the college of osteopathyin London, adding to my previous experience as a musculoskeletal therapist. I am passionate about healthcare and have a keen personal and professional interest in exercise and rehabilitation. I specialize in patient pain education and like to incorporate this into my patient interaction. Helping people understand their symptoms and conditions removes the fear around them and can help them take control of their recovery. I have an evidence-based, patient-centred approach to healthcare and involve the patient in the decision-making process of restoring well-being and maintaining health, often combined with simple rehabilitation, which you can incorporate into your daily life. I have been involved with patients of all ages and have a particular interest in treating those who have chronic pain. I utilise a variety of gentle hands-on treatment techniques that reduce your pain and improve function, aiming to get you back to the activities you enjoy as quickly as possible while providing you with appropriate and realistic goals tailored to your individual occupation, activity levels, and lifestyle. Outside the clinic, I stay active with two young children; I like researching healthcare topics and playing guitar in my spare time.

Since I was young, I have always had an interest in helping people. My dad was often treated by an osteopath. It always had a massive positive effect on not only the amount of pain he was in, but on his mobility and mood too. This is when I knew I wanted to become an osteopath. I graduated from Swansea University with a Masters degree in Osteopathy. I am a member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). I can manage and treat a variety of injuries and problems patients come in with, including but not limited to age related changes (such as arthritis), injuries occurring with accidents, sports, and work. I have a wide array of techniques available to me to use in treatment. These soft tissue massage, stretching techniques known as METs, manipulation, mobilisation, and prescribing exercises to facilitate recovery.
